Amlodipine besilate 5 mg is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. By lowering blood pressure, lit makes it easier for the heart to pump blood around your body. If you are suffering from hypertension, taking Amlodipine helps prevent cardiovascular complications, including strokes and heart attacks. The medicine is also useful in preventing chest pain caused by heart disease.
