Rpigat 20 mg contains the active ingredient Rivaroxaban, which belongs to the class of medications known as antithrombotic agents. It helps to prevent and treat blood clots. Rpigat is also prescribed to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. It also helps prevent and treat clot formation in the brain, heart, lungs, and leg veins. The medicine contains Rivaroxaban, which prevents a clotting factor called factor Xa from working. This helps to prevent the formation of blood clots in the body. Rivaroxaban is commonly prescribed to individuals with atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm) to prevent clot formation.
Rpigat 20 mg is contraindicated in patients with active pathological bleeding. It should not be given to patients with severe hypersensitivity reactions to Rivaroxaban. Rpigat 20 mg is associated with bleeding. It can cause serious and fatal bleeding. Your healthcare provider will check for signs and symptoms of blood clots. This is a high risk of pregnancy-related haemorrhage. Use Rivaroxaban with caution in pregnant women due to the potential bleeding and emergent delivery.
The safety and effectiveness of children have not been established. Do not take this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney disorders, if you are currently bleeding, or if you are taking other drugs to reduce blood clotting. You should not breastfeed while using this anticoagulant medicine. Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Rivaroxaban.
The most common side effect was bleeding. Other side effects of the medicine include fever, headache, nose bleeding, vomiting, raised heartbeat, heavy menstrual bleeding, and a low number of platelets.
Take Rpigat 20 mg tablet with food. Patients who can’t swallow the pill can crush it and mix it with applesauce straight away before use and administered orally. After taking this medicine, immediately have your meal. You may need to take this medicine for many years, even for life in some cases. Do not stop the medicine or change the dosing regimen without your doctor’s approval.
